Update: I didn't want to continue working on the scarab painting because in the end, the composition was all wrong. I made too many mistakes at the foundation and I'm ready to move onto something else. Don't get me wrong, it's not because I'm lazy or anything, I've spent over 12 hours on the piece but I want to move on to something else. Maybe in another year.

Yet another Update
Update: I didn't want to continue working on the scarab painting because in the end, the composition was all wrong.
